PA design helps Oxford Times to lift top award

The Oxford Times was given a bright new look by our design team this year – and it has really paid dividends. The Times was voted Weekly Newspaper of the Year at the Newspaper Society Awards and the judges made a special note of its redesign.

The design was carried our by Press Association Training Director Peter Sands and designer Mike Brough. Oxford Times editor Derek Holmes thanked the pair for their contribution to the awards. He said: "One of the key things the judges pointed to was the redesign that you did for us. Thanks once again for what you did. The paper is looking great, and I know that played a very important part in us winning this award."
